ZT Autolinks in 1.5.25 - possible to link to homepage?

Hello,

For SEO purposes I want to improve the interlinking on my website.
In Joomla 1.5.25 it does not seems to be possible to link to the homepage with a anchor text in the articles.
I'm almost ready to install ZT Autolinks but I'm not sure if this extension can link to the root of the domain as well.

Has somebody tried this and did it work?

Of course it is possible.

Just an example: making an external link and link to the home page.
