Default How to install JoomVision QuickStart package

JoomVision provides quickstart package for each template which aims to easy to use and comfortable for users. It will help you save much time of installing and configuring if you plan to start your site from the beginning.

Installing Quickstart package is quite easy as you install normal joomla!. Please follow these steps:
    1. Download the quickstart package from JoomVision Downloads
    2. Now you will have 2 options:
      • Upload the zip file to your host and extract it using cPanel or other File Manger Tools if possible.
      • If option above not available, you can extract the zip file in your local machine, and upload all file to your host using FTP client program.
    3. Start installation by typing your URL to the directory you have placed quickstart files. The installation page should be appeared as normal Joomla! installation.

Follow the instruction step by step to complete installation process. While install, please remember to install Sample Database to have all JoomVision pre-set content, module and components settings.

After you have done your installation. Just rename or delete folder installation in your Joomla! folder. And that's it! Just refresh your site to see changes.

I installed this, but when I got the set up page, I was being asked for information I do not know. Then there was something about creating the Database and some other sorted madness that stressed me out beyond belief. I thought this was supposed to be simple? Everything was going great until I got to the actual install page. I followed the steps, but I got stuck and the information on this problem is lacking. Please help before I hang myself, thank you.

    Hello,
I actually have JOOMLA 1.5 already installed to be run with an RTL language. I need to install the ZT News III template without having to remove joomla and install it again on my hosting server. I paced the zipped package on my server through cpanel and tried with the installation manager on Joomla admin but it doesn't work.
Is there anyway to make the installation.
    Thank you.

First the one that I was able to install is zt_news_iii15_template and not Quickstart package. this one can't be installed as I said before. When I sent my previous question, I was already in the phase where you said: Here is where your site should look like after installed ZT News iii. But does this comes comes after installing zt_news_iii15_template or Quickstart package
What you provide later regarding extensions installation is not clear enough. First that's regards Joomla 1.6 (Which not many people use). Second, if you can update that guide to be more clear for Joomla 1.5 that would be helpful.

I did remove Joomla and install it through the Quickstart package. On the browser it doesn't really seem to RTL in all sections.:((
But I wonder if this Template http://www.zootemplate.com/demo/jv_news HAS AN RTL VERSION!!

Hey guys I can't work with these templates without support. My expectation for ZT News iii are not what I thought it should be as an RTL template. The JV News template seems to be excellent but I don't think it's a RTL template either. Please some support here!

We already have Joomla 1.7 installed and I just want to upload the template, all components, modules, etc. and sample data. I tried uploading and installing the template Quickstart zip file using extensions manager in our joomla site back end but nothing happened. What do you recommend I do next?

The QuickStart package included all the files needed to install Joomla 1.5.x (or 1.6.x) latest stable version, our Templates, extensions, also the sql dump content included to set the template exactly like we show on the demo showcase.

I don't want to use the quickstart package for the ZT Hemi template because our IT department already installed Joomla 1.7 on the server and I am just the web designer. I uploaded and installed the template installer instead but it doesn't look like the live demo version on your site. Missing slideshow and other nice features. Any help would be appreciated since I need to get this done quickly.
